Gardel Hair Restoration Institute was born in 1994 as a clinic specializing in hair transplantation, incorporating the technical advances of that time.

The capillary restoration revolution began in 1989: several medical groups such as Dr. Bob Limmer and the Moser Medical Group produced significant changes in the development of follicular transplantation.

This development brought about a systematic process of searching for the best results in hair transplant techniques.

When Doctors Bernstein and Rassman perfected and published the “Follicular Unit Transplantation” technique, it was spread worldwide and until this day it has revolutionized hair restoration practice.

Dr. Gaston de la Garza underwent his medical training with these prestigious instructors in 1991 and brought this technique to Mexico.

In 1998 an international group of experts (I.S.H.R.S.) determined what the fundamental bases of this revolutionary technique were to be, in a unified expert opinion. Since then, follicular unit transplantation became popular in United States, Canada and all of Europe, being to this day, the best hair restoration
option available.
